Starts and allows configuration to take place when a new drive is detected or a partition/drive is configured. Configures hard disk drives and volumes. The service only runs for configuration processes and then stops. | ||

Started by the Logical Disk Manager service only when needed. Do not disable if you have the Logical Disk Manager Service enabled. This service is started on your computer when you attempt to change or add hard drive partitions to the system. It should stop itself automatically once you have completed the partitioning operation. This process is required for your system to function correclty. | ||
