Disable Windows XP error reporting notification tool
Windows XP has a built-in error reporting feature. Whenever an application or the Windows system crashes that error reporting tool displays an error message that says that the application has encountered a problem and needs to close and offers you to send an error report to Microsoft. You can disable Error Reporting notification and avoid having to click the Don't Send button. You can disable the Error Reporting tool completely or you can limit it to just the operating system errors. You may want to disable the Windows XP's error reporting notifications if you do not want to see this notification message or not want to share diagnostic information with Microsoft. If you don't have an internet connection this function is useless and better to disable.

Click Start, click Control Panel, click System.
Select Advanced tab in the System Properties and then click the Error reporting button.
Select Disable Error Reporting oprtion. If you clear the "Notify Me When Critical Errors Occur" then you will not see any type of error message.
