Disable boot logo or splash screen in Windows XP slow startup
How to remove the Windows logo during boot up and speed up Windows XP slow startup ? Disable the boot up splash screen which will speed up the Windows XP’s overall boot process. If you remove the splash screen orb oot up logo then you will not see any boot up notification messages that might come up. Method 1
Click Start, click "Run..." and type in 'msconfig' and click OK.

Next in the System Configuration Utility select the BOOT.INI tab and place a check next to /NOGUIBOOT. Click Apply then Ok. Now when you reboot your computer you will not see the XP logo, just a blank screen.

Method 2
· Edit boot.ini file.
· Add " /noguiboot" right after "/fastdetect".
Upon restarting, the splash screen will be gone. It can be re-enabled later again if you need this.
